R.O.C.K. Ages 6-12

“REACHING OUT TO CHRIST’S KIDS” is the children’s church ministry of the Boaz Church of God. We believe, not only in teaching the children about Christ, but also having a relationship with Him. The kids are lead in worship every Sunday. They learn about giving their tithe and offerings to God weekly. In R.O.C.K., we teach Bible stories and lessons in a way that grabs their attention. They have the opportunity to actively partake in prayer and altar time. We have videos, games, puppets, full body costume characters and weekly competitions for the children. R.O.C.K. features “Foundation Station” every 3 months, where any child can purchase items or gift cards with points they receive from coming to church, bringing friends, their Bible, offerings and also from bonus points they earn. R.O.C.K. is our way of reaching the kids with the message of Christ.

	Stepping Stones Kids Church Ages 3-5 (potty trained)
We use Willie George Curriculum and learn about different people in the Bible. We sing, dance and worship God in a "little people" way!! We also make crafts, color, play games, drama and have snack and video time too!!! Bring your kids to join us!

Life-Change Student Ministries
6^th grade & up.
(Girls have a YLM class for 6-8th grade, 11-14 yrs. It is parents and girls discretion if they move up to youth)

Romans 12:2 (The Message) “Fix your attention on God and He’ll change you from the inside out…”

Our student ministry is one of transformation that begins with the student (1) at salvation, the discovery of grace, accepting Jesus as Savior, (2) pursuing Him in a lifestyle of worship and (3) leading to the results of a “Life Changed.” Sunday mornings at 9:45, Wesley Cooper teaches from teen material that is relevant to student’s lives today. The Wednesday night service is called The Flip Side, which meets at 7:00, in the Flip Side youth building, and is lead by Phillip Pierce. Our night is filled with praise and worship, games & illustrated sermons. All Youth 6Th grade and up come join us!

Sanctuary Choir

The Sanctuary Choir is full of dynamic anointed voices and talented musicians that tune their hearts of worship with hard work and commitment. Our goal is to bring “Camp Meeting” to the weekly service. Our passion is to help create an atmosphere that welcomes the spirit of God and yields to His authority. We desire to embrace God’s freedom to worship while encouraging the congregation to join in celebration, lifting our praise in concert to Him. Pastor Chad gives an open invitation to all who would like to join the Sanctuary Choir. Choir practice is every Sunday evening at 4:00 before church and Wednesday evenings at 8:15pm.

Spares ‘N Pairs (Ages 20-55yrs)

Spares ‘N Pairs is our combined fellowship of Singles and Married Couples. We usually meet somewhere once a month just to get together and have fun. We have been to different individual’s homes to eat and play games. We had an incredible night out of bowling. We have gathered to watch football games. The place and event vary from month to month. Spares ‘N Pairs is simply a way for us to get to know each other a little better outside of the church setting.

Care Box Ministry

Our Care Box Ministry was established to further assist the community in which we live. We have many families surrounding our church that are struggling to meet their own basic needs. A single Care Box is filled with groceries and toiletries that we have prepared and should feed a family for about two weeks.

	FOG (Friends of God) Drama Team
The FOG Drama team is made up of young guys and girls from 6^th grade up to young adult. We minister on a monthly basis at our home church and are always looking for opportunities to minister at other churches, youth rallies, etc. You do not have to try out for our drama team, just have a willing heart that loves Jesus. We do everything from human video & pantamimes to signing and skits.

CD Ministry

We audio tape Sunday morning and evening sermons. They can be purchased for a donation. Copies are made available each week, for those who sign up, and placed at the greeters desk.

PFC PIONEERS FOR CHRIST

Each Wednesday night beginning at 6:30pm. Boys ages 4-12yrs

Boaz Church of God has a responsibility to reach and keeps boys for Christ. Pioneers for Christ is a tremendous opportunity for this responsibility. Our objective is to reach and keep boys involved in the local church and in the kingdom of Christ.

The Word: Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

The Covenant: I am not perfect, I have not reached the goal. I have not finished the race, I refuse to give up. I will forget those things in the past that have stopped me from obtaining that goal. I will continue daily following Christ with the living hope that one day I will be like Him.

The Creed: One in Purpose. One in Faith. One in Christ.

	YLMs
Each Wednesday night beginning at 6:30pm. Girls age 11-14yrs, 6,7,8th grades. Girls will be learning sexuality, teen and pre-teen pregnancy, abortion, alcoholism, drug use and transmitted diseases. Promotion to this class from Joybelles is entirely at the discretion of the parent and girl, up until 7th Grade age.

	Joybelles
Each Wednesday night beginning at 6:30pm. Junior girls (grades 4-6) are provided group activities, an exciting achievement program Journeys With Joy Belles, and merit badge studies.

	Bluebelles
Each Wednesday night beginning at 6:30pm. Primary girls grades 1-3 are provided exciting learning experiences through the achievement series, Bluebelles Bible Investigations, merit badge studies, and group activities.

	Little Sweethearts
Each Wednesday night beginning at 6:30pm. Preschool girls ages 3-5 yrs are provided exciting learning experiences through personal development and relationship skills, fellowship and recreation in a Christian atmosphere.

M2M - Ministry to the Military

This ministry supports soldiers deployed overseas and their families and friends. We meet once a month to make care packages for our service members. PRIMETIMERS-Age 55 yrs & up

We are a group of people that love the Lord and enjoy being together in fellowship and fun. Some of the things we have been blessed to do in the past are a cookout at the Price Home, a visit to Little Jerusalem in Cullman, have had ice cream parties, a fish fry and Christmas parties. One of our favorites was a day trip to the Passion Play in Atlanta and on our way back we stopped to eat at Olive Garden. We also went on a Chattanooga Riverboat ride, which included a nice dinner and gospel singing. We also have game nights! We want to encourage ALL of our seniors to come and be a PrimeTimer!!

Pebbles Infant & Toddler Nurseries

Nursery is provided for all ages of infancy to potty trained. (0-2 Babies to Toddlers) At this early age we encourage the kids to learn about Jesus Christ, and to learn songs and Bible Stories.

Grace Thru Faith Adult Drama Team

Grace thru Faith Adult Drama Ministry is always welcoming new adults to minister on our team. If you have a heart for drama we need you! We do skits, human videos, pantomimes, mimes and more! If you have never participated in a drama but think this is something you would like to try, we would love for you to come and sit in on some of our practices and see if this is your calling! If acting is not your thing and you would be willing to work behind the scene, build props, or make costumes, we need you too! Our practice shedule varies as we try to work around everyones individual schedules. We need men and women alike, so come on and share your talent for the glory of God!!!

	Womens Ministry
Womens’ Ministies endeavors to create an atmosphere where women can realize spiritual maturity and fellowship, develop their leadership skills, and minister in the local church, their community and the world. We have monthly meetings, occasional outings, and great fundraisers such as our peanut brittle! Come be a part of what God is doing in our women!

Men's Ministry

MISSION: To bring together ALL men in the church once a month to meet for the purpose to strengthen the Church, strengthening each other in our walk with the Lord, strengthening our marriages, strengthening our wives, our children, our families, becoming an outreach to the needy brothers and sisters in our church and our community and to fellowship in prayer and conviviality with each other. Inviting all men in the community to fellowship together as one body in Christ.

	Spirit Led and Spirit Fed Womens Club
[ITS TOUGH BEING A WOMAN!! Life delivers its share of knockout punches. You bob. You weave. You try to keep moving. But what do you do when you find yourself against the ropes? Come to know more deeply the God who is in your corner!! Join us each Wednesday 6-8pm for Bible Study. Child care available.

	Prayer Shawl Ministries
Prayer shawls can be crocheted or knitted for our love ones who are "shuts ins", whether at home, nursing home, or shephards cove. We pray over them and give them in love to let them know we care and that the Lord is near to them.

	Helmet Liner Ministries
Knitted or crocheted helmet liners for our troops. These go under the metal helmets to keep their heads warm. They are so grateful!!

	Clay in His Hands Puppet Ministries
A ministry that goes along with Stepping Stones and ROCK Childrens church.

Ladies Prayer Meetings

Ladies meet each Tuesday morning at 10am to pray and have fellowship. All Ladies are encouraged to attend.
